MERCEDES-BENZ INDIA introduced its O 500 R/RF 1830 Luxury intercity coach in partnership with Sutlej motors . The chassis is built by Mercedes benz while sutlej motors built the coach body as per Benz specifications and standards.

The six- cylinder ,turbo charged and intercooled , euro 111 complaiant engine delivers 305 bhp and a torque of 1200Nm at 1400 - 1600 rpm.
The bus comes with pneumatic suspension with a lifting mechanism that allows the chauffeur to raise the height of the coach when road conditions are bad .

It also has ABS and hydraulic retarder which prevents the vehicle from over- accelerating while going downhill. It also comes with a dvd player and two large ,retractable LCD screens the buses are priced at approxiamtely Rs 80 lakhs
