Akshay Kumar has topped the list of income tax payers in the Bollywood industry. He paid the highest income tax in Bollywood of Rs 19 crore.

Akshay has even surpassed Shah Rukh Khan who paid Rs 15 crore.On the celebrity tax payer list, the third position goes to Hrithik Roshan with a payment of Rs 8 crore, while Aamir Khan is on fourth place, who paid Rs 7 crore as income tax.

After giving so many mega hits including Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng, Akshay has become the new king of Bollywood.

‘Singh is Kinng’, which saw a record opening in India as well as abroad, was one of the highest grossers during the last year (2008).

In the meantime, audiences are desperately looking forward to Akshay’s upcoming flick ‘Chandni Chowk To China’
