Naan Kadavul is Directed by Bala. Arya and Pooja Umashankar play the lead roles.The movie, as the title suggests, is based on a unique storyline in the holy town of Varanasi. The town, as we know, is known for its mystics, saints and holy men. It is a place where people go on a spiritual quest.The music for the movie is scored by maestro Ilayaraja while the dialogues are penned by acclaimed novelist Jayamohan. The film is Bala’s fourth directorial venture after Sethu, Nandha and Pithamagan.

Naan Kadavul is about Rudran (Arya) who has been driven out of the house by his father, who ends up in Varanasi as a result and lives the rest of his life as an Aghori until one day his father comes back for his son realizing how big a mistake it was to drive his son out of the house. How the son copes up with the normal life, thereafter, forms the rest of the story.
