After playing a journalist in renowned director Blessy’s Calcutta News (2008), comedian-turned-hero Dileep is preparing to do the role of a journalist in a movie to be directed by P. Sukumar, one of the best cinematographers in Malayalam.

The film will feature the script written by Kalavoor Ravikumar, the man who had scripted hits like ‘Ishtam’ and ‘Nammal’ and who also directed the yet-to-be-released ‘Oridathoru Puzhayundu’.

P. Sukumar himself will be producing the film along with actor Madhu Warrier (Dileep’s brother-in-law) under the banner of Colour Factory. The other cast and crew are yet to be finalized.

Meanwhile, Dileep will play the central role in his brother Anoop’s debut production venture titled ‘Papi Appacha’ to be directed by Mamas Chandran. ‘Papi Appacha’ will be an out-and-out comedy movie, featuring Dileep and Innocent in the lead roles. A newcomer will be the heroine. The film will start rolling shortly.
