Oscar winning ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star Dev Patel’s mom has spilled the beans about her son’s affair with Freida Pinto . Dev and Freida were spotted kissing on a dinner date in Israel .

The rumour of their romance first came in the days leading to the Oscars, when a Mumbai executive Rohan Antao claimed he was dumped by his fiancée Freida who, according to him, had gotten attracted towards Dev while filming the Danny Boyle movie.But both Dev and Freida denied the speculation and claimed that they were only friends.

But now, Dev’s 45-year-old mom Anita has revealed the truth to a daily.

“First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place…Life can’t get any better for him (Dev).

Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her,”

Dev’s mother also added that she is proud of what her son has achieved at a young age.
