People has released its annual best-dressed list. Making an appearance on the list for the first time is Freida Pinto, who according to People Magazine, is said to have the best use of color.

The starlet has become a success overnight and is now a firm fixture at fashion shows and Hollywood events. Dressed in the best finery that designers have to offer and employing the services of a stylist, Freida is a fashion force to be reckoned with.

Other celebrates making it to the list are Michelle Obama, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, and Kate Winslet, who was praised for her ‘unique brand of sexy sophistication, modern Hollywood glamour and those enviable curves.’

Brad Pitt, “Twilight” actor Robert Pattinson, and Bradley Cooper of “The Hangover” and “Nip/Tuck” fame were among the best-dressed men of the year. People said their attention to details like a scarf, pin or skinny tie “took their looks beyond basic.”

Coming to the fashion flops of 2009, People magazine counts former “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul and actress Renee Zellweger as having the worst red carpet dresses.
