Even as Kites continues to dip at the box office, Hrithik Roshan is keeping hope in experimental projects.
The actor now wants to act in a comedy, a genre he has never attempted previously.
The Koi Mil Gaya star, however, wants to stay away from the slapstick variety.
“I am not keen on doing any slapstick comedy. I want to work on some good films and if I ever do a comedy it will be a serious one. It will be a comedy which will not be over-the-top and still people will be holding their tummies and laughing their guts out. I am looking at that genre of comedy,” Hrithik said.
He has reportedly set his eyes on Hollywood actor Ben Stiller’s kind of comedy. “It could be either the Ben Stiller style or the way Peter Sellers’ film The Party was made. It has to be a comedy in the genre of Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, which is a lot of black humour.”
