Kalaipuli.S Thanu the producer of the film Kandasamy had sold out the satellite rights of Kandasamy for a record price to Sun Network. He is now very happy man in the industry as he has successfully recovered his whopping production cost of Kandasamy.

Says Thanu, “Yes… what you heard is correct. I sold out the TV rights of Kandasamy to Sun TV for a record price. I’m very happy with the deal, as no film in these recent times has got such a good price.”

He further sais, “Kandasamy is entertainment extravaganza, and is the most eagerly awaited film of the year. As of now if all goes well, we are planning to release the film in five languages Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Italian and Spanish on Friday, May 1 in over 1500 screens across the globe. It will be a summer blockbuster..”

Thanu says that Susi Ganesan, the director is busy with the post production work of the film, which is progressing at a brisk pace. They will be shooting a comedy track between Vikram and Vadivelu for three days sometime in the first week of March, after the actor comes back from Mani Ratnam’s shoot in Kolkata.
