Mammootty and ace action director Shaji Kailas are coming together after nearly a decade. They will join together in ‘Drona’produced by veteran producer Aroma Mani.

Mammootty will start shooting for the film after he completes his current project Chattambinadu. Last time the pair came together was in Valiyettan released in 2000. Remember Shaji and Mammooka have come together earlier in memorable hits like The King, The Truth etc.

The film is being scripted by AK Sajan, who will be doing his first film with the megastar. Mammootty will play the role of a brilliant Brahmin mathematician and astrologer in the film, a sort of Nostradamus whose prophecies come true, leading to the twists in the story.

Kaniha will play the female lead in the film which has also Thilakan, Saikumar, Siddique and Manoj.K Jayan. The shooting of Dronar will start from November 1
