Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye is the new film from the PVR Pictures.The film is written and directed by Madhureeta Anand who also makes her Bollywood directorial debut with MKMJA. Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye (MKMJA), starrs Raima Sen, Randeep Hooda and Arbaaz Khan .

MKMJA is a film which celebrates life in all its aspects. The film’s main theme revolves around ‘the power of dreams’ and it explores the journey of the characters in achieving their dreams. The highs and lows of pursuing the dreams through fantasies form a very interesting tale. The movie capsulates the journey of Raima and Arbaaz who play a couple and how they move to a big city to achieve their own personal dreams.

‘Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye’ is the story of Maya (Raima Sen), about twenty eight years old, living in a middle class locality in New Delhi. She is married to Vikram (Arbaaz Khan) and has a 8-year-old daughter, Priya. Maya’s life is mundane and regular. She always wanted to be a singer but could not because she got married early and her husband laid down a condition that she cannot sing.

Vikram puts her down constantly and is forever eroding her self-esteem. Maya seems to agree with everything he does and says. Until one day, Maya overhears a conversation between her husband and a woman and realises that he is having an affair. She is shattered. This turn of events changes everything for her and she suddenly realises how shallow and empty her life is.

That’s when Maya’s ‘dream man’ Jai comes along. Jai is her imaginary friend. And suddenly life is beautiful all over again. And a music label offers Maya a singing contract.
Jai becomes her conduit to a new world. Vikram is unable to understand this transition and he begins to suspect that Maya is having an affair. He gives her an ultimatum; he tells her that she can either have the recording contract or the marriage.

Maya is in a difficult situation. She has used all her strength to bring forth her independence, but now she must take the final step. She seeks Jai, and he tells her that she must sing. Will Maya continue living her dream? Will she take part in the concert? How will she reach there? Who will help her? Will she have the courage to live her life?

The highlight of the film is Randeep, who himself is a ‘dream man’ and how he helps Raima achieve her dreams and thus be happy in life.

Another highlight of the movie is Randeep Hooda playing 18 entertaining characters ranging from Dharmendra, Kamal Hasan, Amitabh Bachchan
to Zorro, James Bond and Humphrey Bogart which is the highest any actor has played ever.
