One of the most popular Mollywood directors of yesteryear Late Padmarajan’s classic movie ‘Innale’, will be remade in Hindi. Titled as ‘Yesterday’, the movie is expected to feature Salman Khan in the role that Suresh Gopi had portrayed in the original. Ajoy Varma, a Malayalee director is in the helm of this project, which will feature Vidya Balan or Asin in the role that Shobhana had been to in the original.

Every Malayali is fond of the ace director P Padmarajan. He has numerous classic movies listed to his credit. Some of it includes Peruvazhiyambalam, Njan Gandharvan, Koodevide, Oridathoru Phayalvan, Namukkuparkkan Munthirithoppukal, Aparan, Moonnampakkam, Innale etc. Being a profound director, he is still remembered by all.

‘Innale’ told the story of a young girl who loses her memory in an accident, totally forgetting her husband Narendran and her past life. She then falls in love with Sharreth in a new hamlet, where no one realizes the past of the girl. And when Narendran finally catches up her in the new place, the movie proceeds to a thrilling emotional finish.
