Pritvi has sung this song for his new film Puthiyamugham under the baton of music director Deepak Dev. Last Saturday, after dubbing for the film in Kochi, Pritvi took a flight to Chennai and sung the title song at Deepak’s studio in Saligramam.

Many actors have begun singing on screen these days and to have an actor sing a song or two becomes the highlight of the film! Kamal Haasan started this trend, and now we have almost all top stars and even actresses joining the bandwagon.

Pritvi was initially doubtful of his capabilities of rendering a full song and finally on Dev’s encouragement, he sang the melodious title song- Suryamugham Ini Oru Puthiyamugham… written by Kaithapuram Damodaran Namboothiri, the Vairamuthu of Malayalam film songs. He is currently working on Raavan directed by Mani Ratnam and also has Ninaithaale Inikkum apart from many other films.

According to latest updates, the actor is booked till the end of 2010, and may not be able to allot any dates before 2011.
