As an ambassador of Greenathon Campaign, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in an animated video made to inspire people to save mother earth.

In the video, the vivacious Bolly babe stands in a polluted, dry and barren landscape, looking for a solution to make it green again. Then as the idea hits her, a green sapling sprouts out of the parched earth. She hands the sapling over to a little girl, who gives it further to young people. And then with their collective attempt the dry land turns to a green one.

Priyanka, in a statement, says about the video, “It was the first time I shot for an animated video and I had to imagine everything as I was standing against a chroma screen… We were very sure about the fact that it had to appeal and connect with the audience and not be boring and preachy.”

The video produced by Red Dot Productions is a part of NDTV-Toyota Greenathon campaign and premiers today on national television. It is titled ‘Hawaaein, Patte, Paani’, and the lyrics for the video has been penned by poet-lyricist Gulzar while music is by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
