‘Raman Thediya Seethai’ is a film that revolves around a youth played by Cheran and the movie talks about different people and varied cultures that he comes across in his life. The film is directed by K.P. Jagannath. Jagannath was the associate of director Cheran.

Speaking about the project, director says, ‘ it is one of the greatest experiences of my life doing this film. Directing my mentor (Cheran) was a scintillating experience. He has been a guiding force to me encouraging and motivating me a lot’.

Raman Thediay Seethai is the first film of Moserbaer in Tamil as an individual producer. Since they have launched its production house with the intention of making good films, this project would be one such category.

The story of Raman Thediya Seethai centers on a bright young man, who despite being a successful man in his career is not able to get a bride of perfect match for himself. He goes through several rejections from girls whom he encounters for an arranged marriage. The reason why they aren’t willing to accept is for the fact that he confesses honestly of a truth in hidden life. Like Raman in the epic of Ramayan of Hindu Mythology, he too goes in search of Seethai for himself. Finally, he happens to find the right match with the help of a Radio Jockey.

There are 5 heroines going to share the screen with Cheran. Ramya Nambeesan,Vimala Raman, Gajala, Navya Nair and Karthika.

Vidhyasagar scores tunes for the lyrics penned by Yughabharathy, Kabilan and Jayantha. Rajesh Yadav handles camera works while Veerabalan will stand on the shoes of Vaira Balan.
