Young actress Saloni is excited to begin her second innings in T-town with a big-ticket entertainer Maryada Ramanna.

Of course, it’s my big ticket to stardom,” says the actress, who feels that the brand of director Rajamouli will rub off on her. “His amazing record justifies his brand value,” she adds. Saloni was initially doubtful about the project. “I somehow had doubts but finally my dream came true,” she says. The actress was also happy doing a film that celebrates and encourages joint family. “In real life, ours is a nuclear family, so I have enjoyed sharing moments with uncles and aunts,” she informs. On matching comic-timing with leading comedian Sunil, her co-star, she says, “Rajamouli sir made it easier by enacting each and every shot for me.

The actress who began her acting career with Sawan Kumar’s Hindi film, later moved to Kannada and Tamil films. “If the director is good, language can hardly be a barrier,” says Saloni. However, she is all set to make a comeback in B-town with Lashkar. “It’s a Hindi remake of Hollywood hit Departed but it needs good promotion to reach the audience,” she reasons. After seven months of strenuous work, she is looking for a break though. “I like to go back and spend some time with family and friends,” she says, with a big smile.
