Shruthi Haasan is going great guns. The singer, actress and musician has become the first Indian artiste to collaborate on a big international rock music project.

Shruthi will write lyrics and sing a track with rock icon David Kushner of the acclaimed band Velvet Revolver. The older daughter of Kamal Haasan is expected to leave for the United States to work for the song, which will be aired globally.

“This is a dream come true. I really love Dave’s songs. He is an icon. I was really excited when the offer came to me. I will try to give my best to the project”, a thrilled Shruthi says.

Meanwhile, Shruthi is also busy with her other role- actress. She is currently acting opposite Suriya for the much awaited ‘7am Arivu’, directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin besides working for a Telugu movie produced by Disney.
