Sindhu Menon was born in Bangalore in a Malayalee family, and can communicate in all four South Indian languages fluently. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer, her first film was Rashmi as a child artiste in 1994. She is very popular in Karnataka and has also acted opposite many top stars in Malayalam films.
