Sneha takes on Deepika Padukone

sneha1

Major FMCG’s are going nuts over south India’s Rs 750 crore hair oil market, with coconut oil constituting 75 percent of it. All this is good news for Kollywood actresses, who are in demand to endorse coconut oil hair oil.

Two days back Sneha signed the biggest endorsement deal in her life with Dabur. Sneha will be the brand ambassador of its rebranded Dabur Amla Nelli Hair Oil (formerly known as Dabur Amla Hair Oil).

Dabur India chose Sneha because she has “natural black long hair” and women across south prefer natural black hair. Sneha joins the illustrious company of Bollywood beauties like Sridevi, Jayaprada, (both south Indians) Juhi Chawla and Rani Mukherjee who have all been featured in Dabur Amla commercials.

Sneha has to battle the tall Bangalore girl Deepika Padukone one of Bollywood’s ruling divas. Deepika is endorsing Marico’s flagship brand Parachute Coconut Oil. There is a bitter war going on between the two hair oil majors for the southern market.

Will Sneha be able to take on Deepika obviously the bigger star and boost the sales of Dabur Amla in the sticky and slippery world of hair oil market?
