Following the lines of singer Vineeth Sreenivasan, Jyotsna and Renjini Jose, more and more singers are coming up to offer themselves as actors for films. The latest news is about playback singer Vijay Yesudas, who will be seen in a lead role in the movie directed by debutante Nandan Kaavil. Titled as ‘Avan’ young actor Bala will be also seen as the co-lead in this movie, which will kick off its shot in a matter of few weeks.

Vijay Yesudas had debuted as a singer through the 2000 release ‘Millennium Stars’. This talented son of legendary singer K J Yesudas has been a part of many hit songs and earned a state award for his “Kolakuzhal” from ‘Nivedyam’.
