The Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bowl against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the crucial tie at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on Saturday.
Both teams made one change with the home side bring in the experienced S Sriram in place of Manish Pandey. The Knight Riders dropped spinner Iqbal Abdullah to bring back pacer Ishant Sharma.
Kolkata and Bangalore have five wins from 10 games, though Bangalore are higher on the points table due to a superior net run-rate.
The Chennai Super Kings and the Deccan Chargers also have the same number of wins, making it a four-way tie. However, the Super Kings and Chargers have played 11 games.
The team that wins on Saturday evening will have their nose ahead of the rest of the three teams.
