Sony has done it again! To add spice to its early confirmation of its new mirrorless NEX series Alpha cameras, the Japanese firm has launched Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX memory cards for faster transfer speeds. This memory stick is twice as fast as the earlier version, with a 30MB per second write speed.

These cards are synchronised to work in harmony with the latest Sony hardware and are the fastest in the market.

Here are the specifications: Each new card comes bundled with x-Pict Story software for online photo sharing and a data recovery programme, reports SiliconIndia. The company hasn’t said when the cards will be available in 8GB to 32GB capacities. Prices start at $60.
