Toshiba India has launched its latest range of Portege T130 notebooks in India. A delight for the travellers, the notebook weighs 1.76 kgs and offers Hi-Cap battery backup that lasts for more than 11 hours on a single charge.

The compact notebook PC features Toshiba twister design in Iron Red colour both on the LCD cover and also on the inside console panel. The machine provides optimum efficiency, using the Intel Ultra Low Voltage Processor Core2 Duo ULV SU7300 (1.3Mhz 800Mhz FSB). It comes preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium and uses a DDR3 memory. It features an energy-saving LED backlit high definition (HD) screen with Toshiba Clear Super View (CSV) technology and a widescreen 16:9 format.

In addition, a 3-D axis monitoring system detects free falls, shock or vibration in all directions and prepares the drive head for impact, protecting the valuable data and hard disk drive.

Another important feature is a built-in Web Camera with SmartFace technology. Toshiba Portege T130 offers USB sleep-and-charge port so that the user can charge the mobile phone, MP3 player or other portable electronics, even when the notebook is in a turned off/switched off mode.

The Portege T130 notebook PC carries a price tag of Rs 50,990.
