Kozhikode, Wednesday, March 24, 2010: One killed and fifteen injured in a collision of a private bus plying in Kozhikode-Vadakara route with a tipper lorry here at Chemencherry. The incident took place at 9.30 in the morning.

The lorry driver Rajesh, native of Tamil Nadu, who fell off from the bus died on the spot. The report says that the condition of his aid Monichan, a native of Kottayam has become worse. Those injured have been hospitalized to Kozhikode Medical College. Police and the natives there speeded up for rescue operations.
