Thiruvananthapuram, Wednesday 07 July 2010: Twenty positive cases of swine flu and one death in Thrissur were reported on Tuesday. Ten cases from Ernakulam, six from Thrissur, two from Thiruvananthapuram and one each from Kollam and Palakkad have been reported on Tuesday.

The throat swabs of 36 suspected patients have been sends for testing to Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology here. One person has been admitted to the intensive care unit and 30 people are quarantined at different government hospitals across the state.
