Muzaffarnagar, Friday18 December 2009: At least three labourers were killed while five others were injured when an explosion occurred in a chemical factory here today, police said.

“The blast took place when the labourers were mixing the chemicals into each other in the industrial area of Degarajpur here,” SP Rajiv Malhotra said.

The injured were rushed to hospital and are stated to be in a serious condition, he added.
