Angamali, Tuesday 18 May 2010: Three passengers were Killed and 30 others injured when a KSRTC bus going from Koimbatore to Thiruvananthapuram lost control and chop from a bridge 30 metres down near the Telk railway overbridge at Angamaly in the early hours of Tuesday.
Three persons, identity still to be known, have been killed and the condition of two is said to be serious. There were 37 persons travelling in the bus.
The accident happened at around 3.30 am and it is learnt that the driver of the bus was trying to close the door which had opened suddenly, when the accident happened.
The bus has been removed using a crane and the local people and fire force personnel helped in rescue efforts. Many of the injured have been taken to the Angamaly Little flower Hospital.
