Chandigarh, Sunday 21 March 2010: The CITU today said the working class movement will not “tolerate” anti-worker and anti-people policies of the UPA government.
At the end of a five-day conference at Zirakpur near here today, Centre of Indian Trade Unions asked the working class and people to wage a “relentless struggle” against the alleged anti-worker and anti-people policies of the centre.
The Conference also expressed its concern over the deteriorating living condition of the poor in the country and noted that the conditions of the workers are becoming bad to worst day by day.
A rally was also organised on the last day where the CITU leaders highlighted “the ill effects of pursuing pro-US, pro-rich and anti-people policies by the UPA government.
