Kochi, Friday, October 24, 2008: Giving a ten days deadline to CBI for handing over all files and reports related to the Abhaya murder case investigation to the Kochi wing of CBI, the The Kerala High Court slammed the CBI for its laid back attitude towards the sensational murder case.
The Court further added that if the transferring of case doesn’t take place the investigative officer DYSP Aggarwal should personally appear before Court.
Earlier, Justice V Ramkumar had ruled that, the CBI team, which is presently investigating the murder, should entrust the CBI Kochi wing to re-investigate the case and constitute a new team of officers to unravel the murder mystery.
