Kochi, Thursday, June 25, 2009: The Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate has issued a deadline to CBI to solve the mystery behind the alleged tampering of CDs containing the Narco analysis test done on the three accused in the Sister Abhaya murder case. And has asked the investigative agency to recover the original CDs.
The Court said, the investigation should be finished in ten days and report should be submitted soon after.
An expert panel of C-DIT here, which carried out a detailed examination of the CDs, had claimed that, the master CDs of the tests had been tampered with. It found many cuts and overlapping in the videos of the analysis carried out on the accused Fr Thomas Kottoor, Fr Jose Puthrukkayil and Sister Sephy.
The 32-minute, 50-second CD of the narco analysis performed on Fr Kottoor was edited at 30 places. The CD of Fr Puthrukkayil (40 minutes, 55 seconds) was edited at 19 places and the 18-minute, 42-second CD of Sister Sephy was edited at 23 places.
Techniques such as ‘dissolve’ were used on the CDs, and in many places the audio track failed to synchronise with lip movements

Ex Dr. Nalini was a sick woman who became famous by manipulating high profile cases. She asked CBI what result they need. She edited the tape to please them and CBI arrested the three using those CDs. How come they never doubted the CD, until 2 Judges? Why is CBI still studying this case? Dr. Malini must be brought before Judge reveal the truth about CBI tactics! Another failed case and waste of tax money!!
How does one find fault with one Doctor alone. If not CbI who will investigate this case. The murder angle has been proved beyond doubt. It is only the culprits are not nabbed or if they are nabbed, not sufficient evidence. Why waste the time chasing a professional who was only a pawn in the whole system.I am sure there are are many such cases all over India.Only Irony is this happening in a holy place-whatever the faith is.
