Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday 09 April 2011: Chief Minister VS Achuthanandan on Saturday wrote to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh seeking exposing of black money held by UDF leaders in Swiss bank.

The letter says UDF leaders in the state have deposits of black money in Swiss bank. Achuthanandan pointed out this amount is part of the 36,000 crore deposited by Hassan Ali, currenlty under ED custody.

Achuthanandan pointed out there has been media reports suggesting Swiss bank deposits for UDF leaders in the state and a clarification regarding this is a must. He urged the PM to make open the names of the leaders who possess such deposits.
