Thiruvananthapuram, Friday, March 19, 2010: With elections to 3 tier local self governing bodies fast approaching, ACV News network is all set to launch the Best Councillor awards 2010.

Recognizing the contributions of councillors in select Corporation and Municipalities of the state, who have been development oriented during the past five years. The programme will be launched at various ACV News centres by the end of April

The best councillor will be selected on the basis of various projects undertaken in their respective wards and on the basis of public survey and opinion of an expert panel.

The public can nominate their councillors in the format - Name of the councilor, ward, what’s the reason for opting the particular councillor?
