Thiruvananthapuram, Monday, January 24, 2011: Hotline, one of the most popular programs on ACV is completing 350 episodes and eight years today. Hotline, the weekly one-hour talk show on latest hot subjects and controversies has succeeded in creating a niche for itself, even in the melee created by the rush of umpteen number of vernacular channels in Malayalam.

Hotline Live is unique in the sense that one hot subject is discussed in each episode for one hour with viewers also given opportunity to phone in and ask questions on the issue discussed. That makes the show both live and lively. Most of the senior politicians from the state, including Union and State ministers have been guests at the show. The program is anchored by Rajesh Pillai, who is also the head of ACV News division.

A special one hour edition of Hotline would mark the completion of 350 episodes. This special episode will be aired on ACV today at 7.00 pm.
