“Though we fought politically, when (issues of) matter of development of the state came, there was hundred per cent cooperation,” he said, lauding the previous LDF Government at a function here.

Complimenting the former Kerala Industries Minister Elamaram Kareem, he said as a result of the cooperation by Kareem, six defence projects were started in the state including units of Hindustan Aeronautics, Bharat Earth Movers limited, Bharat Electronics Limited and Brahmos besides the National Institute for Research and Development in Defence Shipbuilding (NIRDESH) at Kozhikode.
