Alappuzha, Wednesday, July 14, 2010: The police have arrested two more SFI activists in connection with the violence in the Nooranad Archana Engineering College. SFI State committee member Anaz Ali and Alappuzha SFI district secretary Bipin C.Babu were arrested in connection with this incident.

Kerala State Home minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had earlier informed in the Assembly that the Alappuzha SP would probe the incident. The police had earlier arrested two students in connection with this incident.

The College management informed that 16 CC cameras installed in classrooms and other parts of the college, apart from the computer to which the cameras were connected in the college Principal’s room were damaged. The Management informed that the damage was estimated to be worth 11 lakh rupees.
