Thiruvananthapuram, Sunday, October 04, 2009: Finance minister Thomas Isaac assured that the Amaravila check post would be free of corruption within six months. The interference of outsiders in the official matters of the check post would be hindered, minister added.

Minister had visited the check post along with trade tax department officials. The action plan to wipe out corruption from Amaravila check post had started from today. The check post would be made into the model of Walayar check post.
