Kochi, Monday, June 20, 2011: The promoters of Apple A Day Properties, Saju Kadavilan and Rajiv Kumar Cheruvara have been presented before Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court. Both of them were sent to ten days police custody.

Saju Kadavilan and Rajiv Kumar Cheruvara - have gone into hiding after the Palarivattom police registered complaints against the duo for duping public in the name of 11 real estate projects. The accused had siphoned off over `100 crore from the people who had invested money in the real estate projects of the company.

The accused have been remanded in judicial custody at Ponkunnam sub-jail after they surrendered before the First Class Magistrate Court in Kanjirapally on Saturday. The two were forced to surrender after their anticipatory bails were rejected by the Sessions Court in Ernakulam.
