Thiruvananthapuram, Saturday, March 19, 2011: The CPI has today announced its remaining four candidates for the Assembly polls.
P Santhosh Kumar will contest from Irikkur. Ashraf Ali Kaliyath will contest from Ettanad. Adv KK Samad and Chittayam Gopakumar will contest from Tirurangadi and Adoor respectively.
Earlier, CPI had announced the candidates for 23 constituencies. The CPI has announced two new entrants in the electoral fray for Mannarkkad and Pattambi seats. State president of All India Kisan Sabha and chairman of Kerala Agro Machinery Corporation V. Chamunni will contesting in Mannarkkad to retain the party’s sitting seat represented by Deputy Speaker Jose Baby. In Pattambi, party district assistant secretary Suresh Raj is in the fray as LDF candidate.
