New Delhi, Saturday 20 March 2010: Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh today said that a report submitted by the forest department as well the bio diversity board has pointed out that the proposed project at Athirapilly is harmful to the environment.

A central team would visit Munnar before April 14, the minister informed. The team will check whether if there are any violation to the Forest Protection Act in the area.
