Attappaddy, Saturday, January 08, 2011: Minister for Welfare of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and. Backward Classes AK Balan today said that it was upto tribals to decide on whether the wind power equipments should be removed or to receive profit share from the Attappady tribal land.

No decision will be imposed by the State Government as the current situation was to give back the land to tribals, he said. The Minister added that the Government was ready to construct more wind power equipments if the tribals provide the land.
