Kochi, Saturday, January 29, 2011: State Education minister, MA Baby today opined that it was the Home ministry to decide on re-opening of the ice-cream parlour case, in wake of the statements made by RA Rauf, co brother of IUML State general secretary PK Kunhalikutty. Speaking to the reporters here today, Baby pointed out that the present developments have proved that truth cannot be held in the dark for long.
“ If the allegations that inquiry and judgment on ice-cream parlour case was sabotaged is true, then it is not fair and an appropriate action would be taken in the issue. While Minister Paloli Muhammad Kutty urged the UDF leadership to clarify stand on the confession made by Kunhalikutty and the allegations made against him. “Even when leaving the allegations made by others against him, the confessions made by him is of serious nature. Kunhalikutty should explain what sort of undue favour was done by him as a minister and for what purpose.
