New Delhi, Monday 15 June, 2009: A day after India lost to England in their must win clash resulting in their shocking ouster from the T20 World Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) came out in support of skipper Dhoni.
Talking to reporters, BCCI’s Media and Finance Committee Chairman Rajiv Shukla said that though it is a big loss yet all is not lost and that the upcoming tour of the West Indies should now be the priority.
“We must concentrate on the upcoming West Indies series,” said Shukla.
He also said that Sehwag’s absence was a major reason for India’s early exit from the tournament.
“Sehwag not playing was a big loss,” he said.
Shukla also said that Dhoni is a great captain and that the team possessed the ability of bouncing back.

Fully agree with you. Dhoni indeed has been a great captain. I think the mistake he made was sending Jadeja to bat, he should have gone himself.
Anyway after all it is just a game, remeber that when we win also.
That is the main thing.Everybody makes mistakes.
We go crazy when we win and assume that in all ways we are the world champions, well! cricket indeed a CRAZY GAME!
Lets play the West Indies now! A lesson well learnt? Or never learnt?
