Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday 18 March 2010: The BJP began a three-day meeting of its State-level office-bearers, morcha presidents and district presidents here on Wednesday to chart out strategies for the forthcoming elections to the local bodies.

According to the party, the meeting is aimed at charting out ways to achieve good performance in the elections, taking advantage of the current political situation. The party had already started grassroots-level campaigns on price rise and other issues, a party statement said.
