Blast in Rawalpindi; 5 dead, 18 injured

Rawalpindi, Thursday 2 July 2009: A blast at the Chohar Chowk in Rawalpindi in Pakistan has killed five and injured 18 people, reports said.
The explosion occurred near a bus carrying government officials.

The bomb was planted on a motor bike. The rescue team has been dispatched to the site of the explosion.

Emergency has been declared at all hospitals in Rawalpindi.
