Thiruvananthapuram, Monday, 07 June 2010: It is reported that the Bangalore police had decided to include PDP Chairman Abdul Nazar Maudani in the accused list in Connection with the Bangalore blast which took place in 2008.

Maudani had been figured an accused based on the LeT leader Thadiyentvida Nazeer’s statement, in the special report prepared by the police.

The report says that Karnataka police had thoroughly questioned Maudani and his wife Soofiya Maudani at Kochi on Saturday. Maudani has been hospitalized following severe back pain on Sunday night. Though Maudani was at first admitted to the seventh ward of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital, he was taken to the Surgical Payward later..

PDP Chairman Abdul Nazar Maudani and his wife Soofiya Maudani were questioned by Bangalore police on Saturday in connection with Bangalore Bomb Blast case. It is learnt that both of them has denied their role in the case. The questioning took place at Maudani’s house without the help of city police. Last week, National Investigation Agency (NIA) officers had questioned Soofiya.
