Bangalore, Thursday, August 26, 2010: PDP Chairman Abdul Nazar Maudani and the 31st accused in the Bangalore serial blast case was today sent to judicial custody until September 7th, by the Bangalore Metropolitan Magistrate Court. Maudani was produced before the Court at 5.15 pm today. The Court has also instructed the Karanataka police to provide proper medical aid for Maudani.

Maudani was produced before the Court since his nine-day long remand period would expire today. Maudani has also filed an anticipatory bail plea in the Bangalore Fast track Sessions Court regarding his involvement in the Bangalore serial blast case. The plea informs that there were no evidences to prove Maudani’s involvement in the Bangalore blast case and hence he must be granted bail.
