Kozhikode, Saturday 10 April 2010: The mortal remains of martyr Rajesh, who was among the 76 CRPF Jawans killed in the Maoist ambush in Dantewade forests in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday, was cremated with state honours in the compound near his residence, Earoth House, at Ayrapuram, near Perumbavoor.

CRPF jawans led by DIG K B Madhusudhanan presented a guard of honour and paid the last respects. he body of Rajesh, 29, was placed in front of the Mazhuvannoor panchayat office for the public to pay homage from 7 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. Thousands of people paid tributes to the martyr when the body of Rajesh was kept at Mazhuvannoor Government UPS, where Rajesh studied.
