Kottarakkara, Tuesday, January 04, 2011: The body of a Sabarimala pilgrim, who drowned on Sunday, was recovered this morning. He drowned while trying to rescue his friend at Enath River. The dead has been identified as Prasad (29), son of Enad Iyer of Nelloor in Andhra Pradesh.

The Police said the body will be handed over to the relatives after post mortem. The body was recovered this morning after the navy resumed search operations today. Prasad was in the six-member team, who came to Sabarimala, on December 30.

He leaves behind his wife and two children.
