Cabinet approves compensation package for NH devpt   Cabinet

Thiruvananthapuram, Thursday, September 02, 2010: The State cabinet meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram today has decided to approve the compensation package which would be implemented after the land acquisition for the NH road development in the State. The State government has decided to send a legal notice against the Tecom company asking them to cancel the contract on the Smart city project in Kochi.

The cabinet also decided to declare 17.742 acres of land in Munnar as ecologically fragile land. The cabinet did not take up the issues relating to the Inter State lottery row in the State.
