Thiruvananthapuram, Tuesday, 08 December 2009: The cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister to discuss the price hike for primary goods, decided to distribute rice to APL ration card holders at a rate of Rs.13 per kilogram.

The rice, which received from the central government at a rate of Rs.17, is planning to distribute to overcome the negative effects of price hike among common man. The cabinet also decided to start Maveli hotels before 15th of this month
