Earlier report
Milma had demand the government to hike the price of milk by Rs 5 per litre.
The federation had also put forward the demand that in proportion to the milk price hike the price of related products should be increased.
The committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary P.K Mohanthi had submitted the report on 6th of this month. The committee had proposed the government to rise the price of milk per litre by Rs 4. It was due to the persistent recommendation on the part of Milma to hike prices that the government had appointed a Committee to decide on the matter.
